friday marked the end of our first week with all nation's church planting experience in kansas city. we spent the first week sharing our stories and forming relationships with one another. it's going to be an awesome few months!
here's our group in front of the training house in grandview. there are 8 of us students joined by some of the all nations staff. the plan is still to be in kansas city through december in this training program and spend january-april abroad. we are really excited about this opportunity and i can at least speak for myself (but not for my care-free husband) when i say very anxious to see where the road leads us after that!
and! yesterday we got to spend my birthday together for the first time, it was awesome! ruff told me we were going to chili's, but we ended up in the parking lot of my favorite restaurant. he's still pretty smooth :)
