super cooper

we have had a whirlwind first week back in the good ole u-s of a!
the first couple days, we slept. and the times we weren't sleeping...
we were zombies.
but! even zombies have fun seeing their family.

we made the trek down to atlanta on friday morning, and are so glad we did!
i'm a total lame-o and didn't take a single picture.
anyone else hate doing the "oh, would you mind taking one with mine, too?" thing?
but my sister got a fancy new camera and hopefully she'll put up some pics soon.
anyway: atlanta.
we got to see my parents as well as angie and ricky, and their babies dogs.
it was bram fam gloriousness.
and came with lots of laughs and great food. our fam does those pretty well.

we made it back to raleigh in time to celebrate easter with ruffin's family, too!
(this is a big deal--third time EVER that we've seen both families in one day.)
it was so much fun to see his mom, aunts, sisters, their husbands, and sweet little boys.
again: no pictures. or excuses this time. i'm just lame.

we spent a day in raleigh, and ruff played in his first softball game of the season.
yes, it only took ruffin 4 days back in the country to join a sports team. shocker.

and then we came on down to wilmington, to spend the week with his sister, brother-in-law, and most importantly this little guy:

we're babysitting little cooper this week and he is hilarious and so quick to smile.
he really loves his basketball, and with a family like his the pressure is on to grow
into a baller...who cheers for the tarheels. seriously, the kid has no options.

we are having a great time and love being uncle ruff stuff and crazy aunt libby.
not that being parents is a bad thing, but for now we are totally digging the
aunt and uncle hand him back when he is inconsolable gig. ;)
