oooh the little apple. i LOVE manhattan, kansas. not quite in the "oh-my-gosh-i-have-to-move-back-right-now" kind of way, but more in the "this-was-the-best-college-experience-i-ever-could-have-asked-for" kind of way.
for my birthday, ruff got me tickets to the k-state homecoming game and made sure my college besties were in on the fun, too. and it was amazing. i hadn't been back since graduation a year and a half ago--i didn't even have a fiance last time i was in manhattan! so good to be back with friends, to be a part of the purple sea and do the wabash cannonball (yes, i'm obsessed, yes, it's a great ab workout, and yes it was waaay harder than i expected to live in a place where nobody even knows what that is.) great to see adpi and all the changes they made, and to be back in aggieville. java & so-long...yum.
mostly, i'm just really, really thankful for my friends. college was incredible and i'm so thankful for the relationships that were formed.
