p.s. notice the mini oranges? i thought they were so dang cute, it made me want to plant an orange tree of my own.
and because it was a special day at the garden, they had a magic show, music, dancing...it was great. one of the things i love about indians? where there is drumming, there is dancing. these indian dudes were literally running to join the circle of people dancing to the beat--love it!
this dude can play! he literally went for 10 minutes without stopping--he had a guiness world record from the 70's for playing for 18 hours without stopping (how does he breathe?? not sure. please tell me if you know.)
and then there's this kid. isn't he cute? we live across from the peachy colored building to the right of his shoulder.
p.s. we are reading through the bible in 90 days as a team and as of today, are deep into 2 chronicles. there's this part where jehosophat (awesome name, btw) is kind of freaking out to God about this army that is going to attack and crush them--bad news. but the line at the end of the prayer is:
"we do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you." [1 chronicles 20:12c]
and i just thought to myself: wow. so much of the time, that's life. and our reaction to crazy armies trying to overtake us (or maybe just hating our job?) can be as simple as that.
