we are having a great time on our trip down south--it's so fun to get to see another face of india. some random things we've experienced so far:
a 47 hour train ride.
southern india food...yum.
been to mysore.
arrived in bangalore.
seen lots of little villages by train and car.
with lots of old men in miniskirts (picture to come, i promise).
eaten a coconut and coconut milk straight from the tree.
our first trip to an indian hospital/clinic when ruffin got food poising from said coconut.
(don't worry--he's feeling much better now!)
anyway: having a great time! we are in bangalore for the weekend, and will get to meet up with some young life people here (only city in india with young life) before taking another train to kerala and enjoying a few days at the beach! we are very excited for that.
internet is a little spotty on our trip: but we are missing you, and missing the madness of march! go k-state and carolina!
