holla at rolla!

we finished classes and my interview (thanks so much for all of your encouragement, i think it went pretty well!) on friday, and on saturday headed to our first stop in seeing all my family that lives in missouri and arkansas--rolla, mo.

mama ruby is my sweet great-grandma from louisiana--ruffin & her share a common love for the south and the STL cardinals. (she became a grandma at 40, and is only 4 years older than my grandma on my dad's side!)

one of the reasons we came this weekend was so i could make it to my cousin's baby shower, first baby for this side of the family! we are so excited for her.
