just finished watching this movie- wow. hard one to watch and poor ruff's shoulder got a mini down-pour, but i really liked it. i'm humbled by the circumstances that so many people go through that my johnson county upbringing did not make me aware of. and mostly, i'm incredibly thankful for real-life teachers like miss rein. teachers who care, who keep at it with the frustrating kids, and eventually, after a whole lot of perseverance, breathe life into their students. thanks, awesome teachers. we need you.
