one year!

we celebrated our one year anniversary in style this sunday...crazy, huh? on one hand, it's hard to believe a year has already passed. and then on the other hand--so much has changed since last year that it's hard to remember what life was like before i received a permanent boy roommate.


we had a room with a view of the plaza at the intercontinental, it was awesome! i got a little depressed when they were explaining their 24 hour room service to us and i realized that we are NOT on our honeymoon and it is NOT all-inclusive, but other than that--wonderful.


i picked up some fresh treats from cupcakes a la mode, the amazing little bakery that catered our wedding desserts.


celebrating a year of being the baileys with of course...some baileys. (i stuck on the first annual ornament i made ruffin on top...maybe we'll have a tree next year.)


i also made a little book to capture our memories of marriage, dedicating one page for each year. there are 70 pages in all, i hope we have to finish it and make a new one!




views with the beautiful christmas lights turned on...on my list of top ten favorite things in the world.
