lotus temple, etc.

on friday we went to see the lotus temple, a beautiful house of worship that was completed in the same year of my birth. let me tell ya: 1986 was a good one.

though we've been in delhi for a month and a half, we haven't done too many "touristy" type things here, so it was fun to see something beautiful in this city. it's also nice to not feel like a tourist all the time. we've been around the block long enough to know when an auto driver is giving a "white face" price vs. a fair one. and that some times, walking is okay.

also: we were counted in the indian census. not kidding! we must be legit, right?

random: the other day, i saw a deer park! i was so surprised to find deer in delhi.

while walking to the subway from a market, i came across some beautiful trees. i love trees, and delhi doesn't have too too many, so i thought it was worth a picture.
