thank you, google, for pointing out that today marks the 119th anniversary of the first documented ice cream sundae. (also, thanks for the guaranteed laugh every april fools day--google motion was a goodern.)

i, of course, had to celebrate.

in other news: ruffin got his hair cut...

this is a shop right down the road and i've been slightly obsessed with the name of it since we got here. who wouldn't want to get their hair did at mr. handsome beauty saloon?

over the weekend i did a fun little writing project that you can see on my new about me page. i really would encourage everyone to give it a try, i really enjoyed the process.

and! india won the world cricket cup and freaked out. at about 11pm, we heard shouts and screams of pure joy and the streets filling up with people, then fireworks that sound like bazooka's going off for the next couple hours. it was really fun to be in delhi for the celebration, way to pull out a dub, india!

lastly: i've had this song in my head for weeks. an oldie, but a goodie.

(and yes, i realize that at 24, "oldie" is a relative term for me)
